Rube Goldberg had all those qualities. In 1931 the
Merriam-Webster dictionary adopted the word "Rube Goldberg" as an adjective defined as accomplishing something simple through complex means. At Empiric we strive to serve our customers in the most direct and simple means possible but sometimes our days feel more like the cartoon above.
